Is there a confirmed metro station at Emaar South?

A metro station in Emaar South has not yet been confirmed as part of the Dubai Metro Blue Line. The only officially confirmed named station so far is the “Emaar Properties Station” in Dubai Creek Harbour, slated to open by 2029.

There’s strong interest from homebuyers and investors about whether Emaar South will be directly served by a Blue Line metro station. While some early project marketing claimed “metro connectivity”, official route maps and RTA announcements do not list Emaar South as a confirmed stop. The only station name that has been publicly confirmed is “Emaar Properties Station” in Dubai Creek Harbour, set to become the world’s tallest metro station at 74 meters above ground.

In addition, some real estate blogs suggest the Blue Line extension may include stations at Dubai Hills Estate, Emaar South, and Samana Hills South 2. But these remain speculative until the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) formally confirms them.

Given Dubai’s ambitious infrastructure plans, it’s possible Emaar South could get a station in future phases — but for now, the only publicly confirmed station is for Creek Harbour.
